In one of the more famous stories of the INTJ “Dark Side,” there was an INTJ who was introduced to me by my friend Jim who had recently read the book and portrayed me in it. He was a smart guy but he had been trying to “hang out” with the type I was based on, the INTJ. He was hung up on a female INTJ in the novel and was trying to work on his dating game. He had met this cute girl who he believed might be an INTJ, and he was trying to get her to “get him.” He had done his homework and he knew all about her – her goals, her dreams, her strengths and weaknesses. He wanted to know everything about her.
He was also a very nice guy, very charming, and a very easy person to talk to. It wasn’t hard to get him to tell me all about how he was trying to get this woman to fall for him.
