The point being, it's not the "Neji is an ISTP" thing that's important. The important part is this:
A more accurate portrayal of Neji would be to have him show the same kind of strength that Neji has in the manga, where he's a fighter who's quick and decisive.
Not "Neji is an ISTP", but "Neji has the same personality type as an ISTP".
I don't think it means anything that you are making a joke out of something that is supposed to be serious, but I'm curious as to why you would say something like that, when it doesn't even make sense. It's not like ISTPs are portrayed as stupid, or anything - they're just very logical in their thinking.

I thought it was better to be direct about this than to do the "Neji is an ISTP" thing because the whole point of this message is to improve Naruto's characterization, and I see no point in spreading a misconception like that.
