When I was 18 I got into a relationship with an INFJ and we fell deeply in love. Within our first month together, I was certain that he was the one. I thought we were perfect for each other: crazy, impulsive, and spontaneous. We both loved Star Wars and video games and we had many similar interests. We both wanted to be writers. We both had artistic tendencies. We had all of the same friends. It seemed like the stars had aligned at last.
But then problems started to arise. We fought a lot, and it was always over stupid things. We argued about who was going to help who put up shelves in the house. We argued about who was going to get the dishes and the laundry. We argued about where to go for dinner on a Saturday night. When we argued about money, everything turned into a shouting match and we would get into an argument about money, and then we would fight about money until someone ran out of ammo.
