ESFJs do not mind spending time alone if they know they are being productive. They feel fulfilled and happy when they are contributing to the world in some way, even if that means spending all day making beds or dusting shelves or tending to the sick and elderly.
At work, ESFJs are happiest when they are helping others, whether by helping them in their daily lives or by providing advice or guidance. If a situation needs to be handled, ESFJs will usually take the lead and will do so without much complaint. They are not afraid to confront others when necessary and will do so without being too domineering.
