They have so many internal issues that they keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results. They have a thing for perfection and a near relentless drive to be the best at everything they do. They are usually great at most things but not so good with communication and people skills.
When it comes to communication, ISTPs have a tendency to be blunt and honest with their feelings, which most people don’t appreciate. They are usually the ones that say “I don’t care what anyone thinks about me, I am not changing my behavior!” This attitude can result in them being fired or at least being in situations where they don’t get along with their coworkers.
Another thing ISTPs are bad at is using their extraverted thinking function to make decisions. They really need to take that extra step to analyze what is going on before they make a decision. If they are not careful, they can make the wrong decision that will turn into a problem.
