In those instances, the character is shown as being in a state of denial and resistance, which is a very INFP thing to do. But when the characters are just being themselves, they tend to be pretty realistic.
In my case, I’m not sure how I’m supposed to write a character like that, because it’s not how I think of myself. I do have some deep dark secrets, but I don’t think they’re that dark. And besides that, I’m not sure how I want to write the character or what he’s supposed to do in the story.
I just want to write him in a way that feels natural to me, but it’s really hard for me to figure out a way to do that.
