Adventure personality type is ENFP, the “Artist.” I have always been interested in art, music, and creative activities, and have always been drawn to the arts. I took an art class in high school, but I only got A’s because “everyone else was failing.” I was never the type of person to just sit in the corner and doodle. Art was my outlet, my escape, my lifeline.
When I couldn’t handle the pressure of high school anymore and was a senior, I dropped out. I hated myself for it, but I knew I needed to be somewhere else, somewhere that wasn’t so hard. I transferred to a local community college and started taking life-drawing classes there. I painted my first original artwork of a portrait of a girl when I was 17 years old. That painting was so bad that it is still hanging on my parents’ refrigerator today, a reminder of my first attempt at art.
I eventually moved to Portland, Oregon and earned an Associates in Fine Arts at Portland Community College. During this time, I also began working as an artist for a local music publishing company.
