He added that he believes his father would be proud of Gilles’s accomplishments.
For Gilles, the transition to international management was a natural one. He has family in Canada and in the United States where he worked for nine years managing restaurants.
“I wanted to go back home and get some more experience,” he explained. “I got a call from my cousin to consider coming back to Switzerland. It was something I had always thought about doing. I also wanted to get back to work with my family’s experience and background.”
