Dylan personality type is ESFP, and that he is the ultimate do-gooder. The key to the ESFP is to not make a big deal about their selflessness and giving of themselves, and to make an effort to not be preachy or pushy about it. We do not want to be a burden or a nuisance, but rather a help. My Dylan has a tendency to tell me how to live my life, and I get tired of it. He has told me which restaurants to go to, what restaurants to avoid, what restaurants to go to, what clothes to buy, what clothes to wear, and what events to attend. He is very opinionated and takes his position very seriously. He can be a little annoying at times, but I have learned to just ignore him when he opens his mouth.
Dylan may be the ultimate do-gooder, but he is no saint. He can be a little immature at times, and he has been known to get in trouble for fighting in school. As a parent, I have had to teach him that he needs to respect his teacher, and he needs to be respectful of others as well. He is not perfect by any means, but we have learned to work through his shortcomings.
