César Torres was born in Mexico City, Mexico. He was raised in Mexico and moved to Puerto Rico as a teenager. He started his career as a singer at the age of 15, with his band "Los Tres". In 1998 he participated in the TV Show "Popstars", where he came in third place, but did not win the title of "Popstar".
After the show he started to work in the music industry in Puerto Rico and has released a few popular singles, including "¿Qué Quieres Ser?" (What Do You Want To Be?), "Por Tí" (For You), "Celebration" and more recently, "Tu Y Yo" (You And Me).
