Uda personality type is ENTP, and therefore I am also an ENTP.
I have no particular interest in becoming an enneagram expert. I am not interested in starting a Wikipedia article. Also, my ENTP personality type may have some drawbacks as an enneagram expert. But I do have some thoughts on the matter, which I share below.
First of all, there is the question of what it means to be an enneagram expert. This gets a little more complicated when you consider that the enneagram has different degrees of validity depending on what you mean by "expert." For example, several authors have defended the enneagram as a valuable tool for therapy (that is, for helping people heal from various psychological problems). And there are many authors who argue that the enneagram is useful for exploring the different aspects of a person's personality.
The problem with the enneagram for these purposes is that, in my view, it is too rooted in Christian theology. The point of the Christian worldview is that man is fallen and needs rescue from his real self and from the consequences of his fallenness.
