Naevia personality type is INTJ, which is a rare type indeed. She’s very analytical and she’s very intelligent, but she tries to keep that a secret from others. Also, she’s a very strong character. I think this is a really cool personality to play. I really enjoyed that part of her as an actress.
The character of Lieutenant Aufalla was very interesting to play because it’s a very different side of a person who is constantly in combat and always on the front lines. How did you prepare for that role?
They prepared me with the dialect and the way they spoke. They didn’t give me any manuals, so I had to learn that on my own. The dialect was very important to me because I had to play the scene where she shows up to the meeting. When we were shooting that scene, I had to play it in one take and I was very nervous. If it didn’t work out, I would get fired! I had to be able to perform in one take.
It’s really nice to see that we’re getting back to the original versions of the books. What did you think of the changes?
