I love being right. But, I hate being wrong.
It was hard for me to admit, but it was NOT fun when I was in high school. The pressure to be right, or even just to be liked, sucked my energy dry.
When I was in high school, I was trying to figure out who I was. It was a tough time in my life. Just because I’m often INFJ doesn’t mean that everything about me was perfect—far from it. It was a time for growth, for figuring out what was important in my life, and for developing my own sense of self.
If I had been aware of my type when I was in high school, it would have been a lot easier for me to figure out how to deal with my type in a way that was healthy for me (and anyone who may have been close to me).
I didn’t know INFJ types existed until after I graduated high school and started college.
