The Series
Sergio was born to an Italian mother and a Mexican father (as revealed in "Sergio's Dad"). He is the youngest of three children in a large family. He lived in Mexico City until he was 8 years old, when he moved to the United States with his family. Sergio attended a private school. He met Sam when they were in high school, and they became best friends since then. They constantly tried to get in trouble to get out of school. They both held jobs at the same coffee shop and did their best to get fired because they hated it so much. They got fired many times and kept getting hired back, so they finally quit their jobs. They tried to have fun doing stuff around the city, but they often got in trouble while doing so. They often had a dispute over who was the crazier or more immature.
He is the son of the rich Renato Santibáñez, at first he married marimar to get the inheritance and take revenge for a situation created by his dad and stepmother but later falls in love with marimar
