In 2012, Jung-Joo received an offer to work in France with Christian Lacroix, which was followed by a job offer at Louis Vuitton. Jung-Joo took the jobs, but she had her sights set on becoming a successful fashion designer in her own right.
After returning to Korea, she began Moonzine in 2013. Her goal was to combine the best of Korean style and beauty with the best of French fashion and make it into a luxurious high-end cosmetics line.
