Protagonist personality type is ISTP, the Seeker, and one of my favorite type to play in games. The ISTP is a logical, concrete thinker that is analytical and precise. He or she is a master of facts and details, and can be quite logical and analytical.
The ISTP’s desire to leave nothing to chance or misinterpretation also creates a tendency to be very logical and precise in their own life. Their perfectionism can lead them to be very thorough in their duties, and they can be preoccupied with doing it right. They tend to be a bit of a perfectionist in their own lives as well.
I’ve worked with ISTPs in many different environments, including startups and corporations, and they have often been the ones who are able to take over the day-to-day operations of an organization after the previous leader has left. ISTPs will stay on, keep things going and make sure everything is in order.
But that’s not all the ISTP is about. They are also natural leaders with a natural instinct for bringing people together, making them feel like one big team that wants to do great work every day.
