The entire series is about Hishigami Yomi (he is the main character) and his quest to become a full-fledged god. He was born as a human but through a twist of fate, he fell out of a tree when he was just a baby. His parents were killed by a group of humans and he was left in the forest.
In the series, he meets many characters and he uses his powers to help them in one way or another. He also has a group of friends (they are the “Seitokai Dōjō”) who are all very different from each other but they always get along. The anime also has many subplots that involve the other characters.
