Just because a character is an introvert doesn't mean they're an INFJ. That's like saying a person who is quiet in real life must be an ISFJ. There is a lot of overlap between the types, and there are different aspects of introversion and extroversion that can be present in someone of any personality type.
Besides that, the personality type system isn't perfect. Fictional characters are not really people, after all. They are just as likely to be driven by their inferior function as they are by their dominant function. I think you're misinterpreting what I'm trying to say here. The truth is that if you're in love with someone, it doesn't necessarily mean that you're INTP, INFP, or INFJ. It means that you're in love with them.In fact, I would have to say that it's more likely that you're INFP if you're in love with someone who isn't INTP.
I'm also not saying that you're not INTP if you're in love with someone who is. I just don't think it's necessarily the most likely thing.
