Kyle winston personality type is ISFP, or Introverted Sensing Feeling Perceiving. He is an artist and has always been artistic, but I think it got a lot worse after he was in the war. He started to draw and paint when he was young, and it helped him deal with the horrors of battle. He used to draw his war experiences on the walls of his tent.
He also has a very romantic side, and is very generous. He is very protective of the people he cares about, and more than happy to go to bat for them.
His love of art also drove him to make a bunch of sculptures in his room when he was younger, which ended up getting him grounded for a week. He was only allowed out to do his chores for the week. He was forbidden from going in his room until the sculpture was complete.
He ended up making a bunch of different sculptures over the course of the week, and filled a whole shelf in his room with them. That was a big factor in him wanting to go away to art school.
He has done a lot of other artwork since then, but it has been mostly self-study.
