I’m always hearing that the “true” ISFP is quiet and shy. I don’t know whether this is true or not, but I’m definitely not shy. In fact, I’m not quiet at all, but I do like to keep my opinions to myself. I don’t like to talk about myself all that much. I like to get to know other people very well before I say anything.
I think that ISFPs are usually very good listeners. When the conversation starts to get dull, we can always change the subject or say, “I have something to tell you, but you have to promise not to be mad at me if you hear it.” We also like to give people advice, but we do it in a way that makes people feel special and valued.
I’m also very good at taking care of people. I think it’s because I have the ability to see things from other people’s perspectives. I tend to be very empathetic and kind.
