Haru (Japanese: ハロ) is the Japanese word for "spring". This is a traditional color (purple) and a traditional flower (yampai).

"Haru" is one of the four seasons, and the other three are "Yuki", "Natsuyasumi" and "Kanshin".

The concept of a season being linked to personality is a Japanese one. In Japanese, seasons are called "no" (夏), "natsu" (夏), "hatsuyu" (節気), and "kanshu" (春). Each of these words is used to describe a personality type.

Each season has two opposite personalities: a positive personality and a negative one. "Haru" is the positive one, and "Yuki" is the negative one.

According to Japanese legend, Haru is the spring season before Yuki. Since Haru is the positive season, it's associated with the ENFJ personality type, which is the most common personality type in Japan.
