Cuphead uses his optimism in a positive way and helps the citizens of Mugman City. I believe that optimism can be used in a positive way but also to a negative one because of the person who has it. Cuphead is optimistic, but he also uses his optimism to make the citizens of Mugman City smile and laugh. He always tries to help others and make them happy, but he also makes them laugh. Cuphead does have a serious side to him, but it is his smile and his optimism that make him who he is.
