The Haunting of Hill House personality type is INFJ, which is described as “the Architect.” Architect originally described a builder or architect, but in the context of psychology it refers to someone who has a highly developed sense of ethics and morality. INFJs are the type of person who pays attention to the details and is conscientious about ethics. They are usually kind and quiet, and tend to be more reserved with their emotions. They also have a very deep set of values and ethics and will often act in accordance with those values even if it is out of their own personal interest. INFJs are often seen as quiet and calm, but beneath the surface they are usually very intense and emotional. The INFJ looks for deeper meanings in everything, especially their own emotions. INFJs often feel more than they express, and even if they show their anger or sadness, they are usually very controlled in how they express those emotions.
