In the case of the INFJ, we are aware of this duality. We are aware of what we are, what we do, and what we want. And day in, day out, we try to maintain the balance between our two halves.
It would be so easy for us to just go along with the crowd. To not be ourselves and to just "be" and be happy with being "just like everyone else". It is easy to fall into the trap of curling up inside of ourselves, to bury our unique selves away from society and get lost in the crowd. It is so easy to get lost in our own shell, to be overly shy, or too introverted.
