My goal: To have enough skills to network effectively and develop a business that is unique to me. I'm a big fan of the idea of building a business where I can help others on the side. I've been doing this for a few years and would like to build one that is a little bigger, but still uses my personality type to improve people's lives.
My background: I started studying psychology and philosophy in college after I felt that I was not being treated fairly in college. I have been a stay at home mom for the past 10 years with the exception of two years of working in retail while my husband was in graduate school.
I've always been interested in learning how to be more effective at selling, marketing and networking. As I've grown older, I've realized that it's not enough to just know how to do something, you have to be willing to take action and use the skills you learn.
