Horsa Frown-Hoard (died 877) was an Order of the Ancients zealot who was active in 9th-century Oxfordshire, England. The unsmiling visage of Horsa, called "Frown-Hoard", struck icy fear into the souls of all who looked upon it, with good reason. He was highly reliable and often served "the Lathe" Mucel of Buckingham. In 877, he was ambushed by the Viking warrior Eivor Wolf-Kissed on the road from Perie to the Besuncen Tor, and he was cut down. In his last words, Horsa asked Eivor to use his stored silver frivolously, although Eivor told Horsa that he would be forgotten.
