dai the flu - deftones personality type is ESTP, but mine is ISTP.
It's also all a bit of a blur as well, I've got like a month and a half of college left and I'm going to be busy for the next few years taking care of the kids, so I'm not really sure when I'll get back to the site.
I know there are some people who post on here from time to time who are older than me and I wouldn't want to say something that could be read as offensive, but I've got some older friends who might or might not make that distinction between "I was an ESTP" and "I'm a borderline sociopath".
And yeah, I agree with you. It's not the same thing. If the ESTP is more dominant then it's less likely that they'll be able to function in a healthy relationship with the ISTP. It's like quite the opposite of what you're saying, which is that the ESTP might be able to date an ISTP but it's not likely to work out because of the difference in personalities.
