Carpenters - Top Of The World personality type is INFP, type is ENFP, and I'm ENFJ, so it's not at all like that. I'm definitely an INFP. I don't think you're right about the meaning of the song though. I've always thought that it really means that if you're a leader and it's your time to lead, sometimes that means you have to let go of the people that you need to let go. I'm certainly not letting go of anyone because I don't want to be a leader, but I do think that sometimes you have to be a leader and sometimes you have to let go of the people you depend on. I don't think that this song is about that though, it's about loving someone and letting them go, not letting them go because you want them to be a leader, but because you want to be one yourself.
What is your favourite song on the album?
I like everything on the album actually. I mean, there are a few songs that I just don't like as much as others because they don't have as many words, but I like all of them. I love "The Waiting Game" and "The First Stone". "Walking In Memphis" is my favorite though.
