Dr. Crackpot personality type is ENTP, more specifically the “A” and “C” subtypes. As ENTPs, we are known for being highly creative, witty, and inventive. We see things in a more creative way than others and help others do the same. We love puzzles and ideas. We bring a little bit of crazy to the table, but mostly our creativity brings joy into the lives of others.
But we also have a tendency to act without thinking (and sometimes without sensitivity!), get too wrapped up in our own ideas, and sometimes take things too far. So it’s best to keep our crazy in check. Otherwise, people start to grow tired of us and we become a “burden” to others. So, we either need to bring some level of sanity into our ideas or get some help from others who can keep us in check.
Sensitivity is a key trait of Dr. Crackpot types, so it’s important to be aware of our own tempers and frustrations, and work on being more patient with others. We do need to express ourselves in a way that is both respectful and considerate of others, though!
