It's not about gender, it's about gender roles, and what is appropriate for men and women. The personality types are only a part of that.
I don't think there's any one correct interpretation for the personality types, but I do have a pretty solid understanding. I'm not saying that I'm right, I'm saying that I have a strong understanding of Jungian personality types and their impact on the way people are perceived by society.
I won't give any examples because that would only make things worse, but trust me, they're there.
Also, I'd like to say that no one has been talking about how these personality types are applied in video games. Just that they exist.
