Itsuki personality type is ISTJ, and he is described as "calm, stoic and dependable." His signature traits include his "horror of butterflies" (which he seems to have had since the third grade), and his inability to play games. Despite being a member of the Student Council, he dislikes the idea of being a leader or having to follow orders. He cares a great deal about his friends, and will do anything to support them, as shown in episode 2 of season 2, when he is willing to lie to his boss to get the students' friendship concerts approved.
He has been shown to be quite stubborn and has a tendency to come up with different ways to solve a problem, which is shown in many episodes in both seasons. He gets extremely annoyed with Akito and his games, as he believes that everything is too serious, but he allows Akito's jokes and pranks to go on because of Akito's unwavering optimism that everything will turn out fine. He is also very dependable and trustworthy, caring a great deal about the well-being of others.
