The ESTP is, by nature, a performer. They like to put on a show for everyone, and really relish in the feeling of being able to captivate an audience with their performance. They are often very overconfident in their abilities and will often take risks in order to prove themselves to others.
But, as you might imagine, being a Mr. Man with ESTP characteristics comes with its own set of problems. It causes problems in relationships, because the ESTP has a tendency to turn everything into a performance. They will often miss important details while they are performing, and they can sometimes be so caught up in their performance that they forget to actually pay attention to their partner (or employee). They will often do this because they are too focused on themselves to notice what other people are doing.
In many cases, the ESTP percieves that they are being taken advantage of by others, so they will often expect their significant others or employees to perform for them.
