I’m not sure why I am drawn to people who are different than me. I’m still trying to figure that out and I have not yet found a solution. However, I do know that I tend to be attracted to people who I can have a conversation with. I have found that this is true of many people in my life.
I have always been drawn to people who are creative, and since that is what attracted me to my husband, I have enjoyed talking to him about art. I think I was drawn to him because he was a good listener. He was also a great conversationalist and we had many lively conversations. Also, we shared a love for travel. We spent many years traveling and exploring the world together.
When I see someone who is different from me, it helps me to feel less alone in the world. My husband and I have a great deal of fun when we get together with friends and family. The more people we talk to, the better.
