Why do you think that is? Is it just because the average comedian has a far more introverted personality and the ability to be very articulate in a way that not many people can?
I think it's a little bit of both. I think it's because they all want to be funny, and they're introverted, and they like to talk about things that are funny, and they're a little bit too analytical at times. They're very rational people. They don't understand irrationality. They can't see someone who's laughing at something that isn't funny. They don't understand why you would laugh at someone falling down.
You said you consider yourself an "intellectual comedian." What does that mean? Why would you consider yourself an intellectual comedian?
I don't know if I'd call myself an "intellectual comedian" as much as I'd call myself a comedian with a lot of ideas. I'm an analytical person, so I like to think about things and analyze things, and I like to share my ideas with other people.
