I’ve never been a big fan of “falling in love.” I’ve never been into one-night stands. I’ve never been attracted to just anyone to begin with. So, you can imagine my surprise when my first love relationship was with someone who I would describe as “very traditional.” He was very shy and very respectful. He was also very religious and was afraid to express himself too much because he was afraid that I would leave him. Eventually we broke up, but not because there weren’t things I loved about him. I was too young, and things were different for us. It just wasn’t meant to be, and we both moved on.
