Her story arc centers around her desire to inherit the Treasure of the Yasogami High School, which she saves Kiseki from an accident involving the school's treasure. Her story arc is the only one in the game where she does not possess any of the Personas of the main cast, instead starting off neutral and using other Personas to gain experience.
Nanami does not have a Social Link, however she can be talked to at the Yasogami High School after the player has reached the second semester. She will be in the student council office and asks if she can join the Investigation Team, saying that she just wants to help out and it'll be good experience for her. Nanami is required to enter Tartarus and defeat The Lovers and The Star Arcana in order to stop the Dark Hour and save the universe, and she can subsequently join the party.
