Kotton personality type is ISFP, and as a result we’re natural artists, writers, and actors. We’re also a lot like the movie Wall-E, in that we’re mostly concerned with the future — and we tend to worry a lot!
One of the main things that makes us worry is our inability to be alone. We’re very socially minded and love to help others, but we’re also very sensitive to criticism. When we don’t get the admiration we feel we deserve, it can trigger an incredible amount of worry and anxiety. We also worry a lot about not measuring up to our own expectations, and finding ourselves in situations where we feel we have little control over our lives. This can be paralyzing and make us feel depressed.
Luckily, the ISFP personality type is adaptive and curious. We’re also good at adapting and learning from our mistakes, so we tend to get a lot of positive feedback from the people around us.
