You may be wondering why there is a gap in the middle of the four cognitive functions. INFJ’s use both Ni and Si, and Si and Ni, and Ni and Fe. In other words, they are able to use all four cognitive functions in a very unique way. This is why INFJ’s are so effective at seeing things from all angles, and seeing how things fit together. For example, if you were to tell an INFJ that someone is lying to them, they would be able to see it from every angle.
