Keeper Yennen personality type is INFJ, which can be one of the hardest personality types to work with, and as a result, I have had numerous clients who initially felt that I was not "right" for them. What people don't understand is that INFJs get along with other INFJs; however, they don't get along with other personality types, especially when they are feeling inferior to their partner. INFJs feel their partner is their best friend, which leads them to feel insecure about their relationship. They want to be their partner's best friend, but they will not allow that person to take advantage of the INFJ's kindness and compassion. INFJs are usually very independent, and they do not like to feel like they are being controlled by another person.
I am a very intuitive person, and I knew that my client was feeling intimidated by his partner's intensity, and I knew he needed help learning how to control his emotions. I explained to him that he was in a relationship with an ENFJ, and that he did not need to feel inferior to his partner. We worked on his anger and resentment issues, and after a few sessions, he felt much better about his relationship with the woman he loved.
