Prior to being a magical girl, Midori was a blind Japanese girl who came to America, seeking medical help. After making her contract with Kyubey in Wisconsin, she did her best to better her skills and learn about being a magical girl. Midori is a kind-hearted magical girl, who attempts to find peace before choosing sides. She tends to stay on the positive side of things, but can get emotional and sentimental when it comes to her home in Japan or the friends she has lost. Nevertheless, she takes her magical girl duties seriously in hopes to protect as many people as possible from the ruthless creatures known as witches.
