My favorite character is Reki. I'm a sucker for strong female characters, and she's a strong female character. She doesn't get the credit she deserves, though. (She's almost always overshadowed by Kyouko.)
I think Reki is the best girl in the universe. She's adorable, and she's strong as hell. And she makes me excited every time she appears in the series. I've never been this excited over a character before, and I can't wait to see her again.

The rest of the cast is really cool too. But Reki is my favorite. She has this amazing energy about her, and it makes me feel happy just seeing her for a second. And seeing her interact with Kyouko is amazing because Kyouko is so cool, and Reki's being so cool back makes it even cooler. Plus it makes me feel like Kyouko is a bitch, and that makes me feel happy!

Reki is quite the difficult character with an edgy complex. Wanting to find herself some happiness in the world, she attempts to play the role of the cool kid at school and totally disses her real friends, just to fit in. Not wanting to admit her need for help, she tends to take on far too much for herself to handle. On top of her angst, the absence of family in her life seems to take a tole on her, no matter how hard she tries to cover it up. She's regretful, feisty and short.
At least she's stopped smoking.
