"They were a big part of what we are doing," he said. "It is important to me that they get credit for their significant role in the development of the restaurant."
As for how he responds to comments from people like "your mom is a crack whore," Krause is tough.
"If they are going to be rude, I have to be rude back," he said. "I don't want that to be an example for my children."
The restaurant will be open for dinner Thursday and Saturday nights, with Krause promising "a little more relaxed atmosphere than the rest of the week."
