Donovan personality type is INFJ, “The Protector.” I’m not a therapist, so I can’t diagnose someone else’s personality type. But I can tell you that the INFJ personality is one of the most misunderstood, maligned and misjudged of the 16 personality types.
How do I know? Because INFJs are often pointed at as being “shy,” “quiet,” “obsessive,” “stuck-up” or “antisocial.” The irony of all this is that INFJs are often quite loud and vocal about their opinions! They are often overly sensitive to any sort of judgment, which leads to some social awkwardness.
INFJs live their lives by the principle of “do the least harm.” They want to make sure that the people in their lives are safe and happy, and that their actions don’t cause them more pain. So it comes as no surprise that INFJs usually choose careers in healthcare, mental health, social services, and education. These jobs offer them the opportunity to help others, without being too personally involved.
