Krajewski, who was born in Poland but moved to England when he was a child, has been playing his best-known character for the past 11 months, following a serious injury in November, when he suffered a broken arm and dislocated shoulder. He had surgery in December and was released from hospital just before Christmas.
He had been due to return to work on 29 January, but felt pain in his arm during rehearsals of the "White Collar" Christmas episode.
"It wasn't until I was sitting on a chair that I knew something was wrong," he said. "I couldn't raise my arm and I just thought I'd have to go to hospital."
The 27-year-old had surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, north-west London, where he spent three days before being discharged. He then had another operation at St Thomas' Hospital in central London on his shoulder, which had been dislocated by the fall.
"It was so frustrating," Krajewski said.
