Kate personality type is ESTP, or the “Explorer.” She’s always been a risk taker and bold—she’s talked about how much she loves to go out and take risks. She wants to do things her way and to be her own person, so this fits perfectly. She’s a bit of an adrenaline junkie, but she always has been. Whenever she gets stressed out, she’ll go out and do something crazy— like when she was on Big Brother and she was trying to get voted off the island. She had a pretty tense situation going on with Harold, but she was still able to get in a kayak and go out to sea in rough waters. That is what she does; she’s kind of fearless, but she also has some anxiety. She’s very passionate about everything she does—she really values her opinions.
Watching her throughout the season, I saw how much she struggled with anxiety issues. I think one of the biggest things that helped with that stress was the fact that she was able to connect with her tribe, especially with Angela and Brad. They were both very accepting of who she was and what she wanted to do.
