Jihu Jeong is the youngest daughter of Korean immigrants. Her father is from Busan, Korea, and her mother is from Seoul. They live in the United States and were married in 1986.
Jihu Jeong’s brother, Eric Jeong, was born in 1987 and is a sophomore at University of Central Florida. Her sister, Kim Jeong, was born in 1995 and is a freshman at Thomas Edison High School in Edison.
Jihu Jeong’s family is far from small – her mother is a nurse, her father works at IBM as an engineer and her older brother also works at IBM as a software engineer.
“I am very lucky to have such supportive parents,” she said.
