Do Soo Hyuk personality type is ISTJ, but he is more of a subtype of ISFJ. If this is true, then why is he so different from the other members of his family? My theory is that, while he may be an ISFJ, he has a much stronger independent streak, and that is likely why he has a different personality type from his family members.

As mentioned above, both his uncle and his cousin are Introverted Intuitive Thinking Judging (INTP). In addition, both of them are known to be Superb at picking up on others' emotions. While Soo Hyuk may have inherited his mother's "easy-going" nature, I'm pretty sure he has no intentions of coddling his younger sister. In other words, he probably inherited his father's temperament as well.
