Being a friendly and kind person is something that has followed her all her life. She was born in Japan and then moved to the U.S. when she was three years old. Even then, she was always the one to make new friends and give out candy on Halloween and Christmas. She would always go out of her way to help and give and had a big heart. “I had a lot of friends when I was younger,” she says, “but I have trouble making new ones because my face is so expressive, so I have a hard time hiding my true intentions.”
As a teenager, she discovered she had an affinity for drawing and singing. As a result, she spent most of her free time in the music room with her instruments.
