Alabasta
The first island that is visited by Sanji in the series. The island is located in the Sky Islands, and lies at the southernmost point of the Grand Line. Inhabited by humans, Alabasta is seen to have a very distinct culture from the other islands. The island is divided into three main areas, which are separated by a mountain range. The mountain range has an entrance that leads to the cave of their city, where they have been living for 25 years. Despite this, they are still protected by a barrier of stones and iron fences, which are strong enough to repel any attacks by the powerful fishman pirates. Alabasta is shown to be a peaceful and prosperous place, as it is quickly shown to be the most advanced country on the Grand Line, being filled with high-tech buildings. Because of this, most of the island's people are peaceful, and all but tolerate the Fishmen Pirates. The three main areas of Alabasta are: The Capital City - A city that resembles ancient Rome, with a river running through it and several buildings looking like Greek temples.
