Miltiades was a Athenis statesman, general and citizen who is estimated to have lived from 555 BCE to 489 BCE; He is mostly known for his impulsive act during the battle of Marathon in 490 BCE which led the Greeks to victory against the Persians,opting for a completely new battle tactic,which was based on solely an observation he made,instead of the traditional one.
He was a very good speaker as he managed to convince everyone in the assembly to approve of his new tactic.
